Ben is the Operations Manager at GBS, coordinating operations at the headquarters in Leesburg, Virginia. Ben has played a critical role in multiple aspects of the administrative side of the business since joining the GBS team in 2013, including providing support in the areas of accounting; contracting; human resources; office management; payroll; physical, information security and security awareness, education and training.
Ben has created and developed an effective security education program, been involved in several outside reviews of internal company systems relating to both accounting and security programs and selected and implemented a new company-wide accounting system.
Prior to joining GBS, Ben built bathrooms and kitchens for a remodeling company while earning for an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts, producing a 4.0 GPA and graduating summa cum laude along the way.
When not in the office, Ben serves on staff at his church and enjoys engaging with the outdoors often, usually somewhere in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Northern Virginia.
